Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat

I received this book as a gift from a kindred cook when we moved away from Israel after living there for two years. It is so lovely to look through a cookbook that reminds me of my favorite part of living there - the food! I regularly make the basic hummus recipe, and was forever changed by the suggestion of the apricot glazed chicken recipe to fry my sliced lemongrass. Wonderful. The photos are beautiful and inspiring, and each recipe is contributed by a famous chef somewhere in Israel. This means most recipes are a little non-traditional (but still faithful to their Israeli roots) and require a little adventure on your part to try making them as written, such as buying fresh lemongrass. Or blackening eggplant only to pur�e the flesh for an amazing soup. Some pairings will seem a bit odd perhaps, but trust me, watermelon and feta were made to go together. I love this cookbook and have had several people become completely engrossed by it when they discover it on my shelf.

he book offers many samples, templates checklists and tips and tricks on a breadth of pertinent topics. Concepts and terms are explained clearly. I have read many QA and testing books, but I haven't seen any that outline the skills and tips on how to get started as a software tester.

Following the advice given in the book will help both novices and seasoned professionals. I highly recommend that anyone seeking a first time job as a manual tester or someone who can appreciate a high level review.

I've always been curious about how manual testings are done. I thought it was a simple task but when I read this book, it's so much more than what the name "manual testing" meant. For the last thirty years contemporary fiction has been influenced by theoretical discourses, textuality and writing. Only since the rise of postcolonialism have academic critics been more overtly interested in stories, where high theory frameworks are less applicable. However, as we move through various contemporary contexts engaging with postcolonial identities and hybridity, to narratives of disability and evolutionary accounts of group and individual survival, a common feature of all is the centrality of story, which posits both the idea of survival and the passing on of traditions.

The Return of the Storyteller in Contemporary Fiction closely examines this preoccupation with story and storytelling through a close reading of six contemporary international novelists that are either about actual 'storytellers' or engage with the figure of the storyteller, revealing how death of the author has given birth to the storyteller.

Esta traducci�n mantiene el "esp�ritu jud�o" de la mentalidad de los autores jud�os originales. Y ayuda mucho a poder resolver GRANDES MALENTENDIDOS que gobiernan la mente de muchos cristianos "antinomianistas", por ejemplo, el verso traducido tradicionalmente como "EL FIN DE LA LEY ES CRISTO" ha causado mucho de este "antinomianismo", ahora, David lo traduce como "...porque la META a la que aspira la TORA, es el Mes�as.." as� ya podemos entender el verdadero significado de la palabra griega "telos" no como FIN de TERMINACION sino como META, OBJETIVO, PROPOSITO.

El Dr. David Harold Stern (1935- ) es un te�logo jud�o mesi�nico nacido en Estados Unidos, pero residente en Israel. Puedo apreciar en la versi�n del “Nuevo Testamento Jud�o” que el Dr. Stern tiene inclinaciones hacia las doctrinas de la cristiandad por encima de las del juda�smo.

El nombre divino del Creador aparece en las escrituras griegas cristianas unas 237 veces como se pueden apreciar en la Traducci�n del Nuevo Mundo (TNM) 1987, Biblia Peshitta (2006), Versi�n Israelita Nazarena (2013) y Nueva Version Literal (2015).

El Dr. Stern vierte el nombre divino en esas 237 veces de la siguiente manera: Adona� 137 veces, Se�or 78 veces, Dios 17 veces, Mes�as 1 una vez y lo elimina en cuatro ocasiones. Adem�s, ciertos textos b�blicos, el Dr. Stern se inclina a traducirlo siguiendo las doctrinas de la cristiandad.

This is the smaller paperback version of the book - find the original hardcover instead from 1998. VERY explicit photos!

There are actually FOUR versions of this same book printed, this is the cheap paperback version - find the first one, which is hardcover and doesn't have "Volume I" written on the cover. When this was first published in 1998, Taschen had no idea they'd do an entire series, so the first printing was simply called "Roy Stuart," it's a large format hardback, and it is BY FAR the biggest and best edition of this book. The same book, this paperback version appeared as "Roy Stuart Volume I" in 2003 and it's much smaller and has a much lower printing quality. Spend the extra time to find the original hardback, it is far superior to the later hardback printings and the paperback versions.

That said, some people call Stuart's work "exotic" or "sexy" or any number of things, but as a photographer myself who does a pretty fair amount of boudoir and lingerie photography, be VERY aware, this is not boudoir or lingerie or pin-up photography, this is very well photographed porn - pure and simple. This is NOT a book for the meek or modest, but it's a darned impressive piece of work if you appreciate this sort of thing.

Great photos by a master

From an objective viewpoint "erotica" and pornography" are synonyms for the same thing, except that the first is associated more with art than the second. Thus this portfolio of photos highlighting female sexuality where like a film director Roy Stuart carefully arranges everything in the shot. His female models are scarcely less inhibited than pornstars but are (mostly) prettier and fortunately "au naturel." (...) The models are interested in each other and don't look at the camera. I would have given 5 stars if all the photos were like this, but there are some which (purely subjectively) (...)
