If you're even slightly interested in knowing more behind you and your partner's sex life, Sabra and Jenny really know what they're talking about so you NEED to read this book to learn more!

Just got the book, today and already finished it, plan on rereading it tomorrow.... The knowledge and expertise that Sabra shares with us to help us understand not only ourselves but understand the one that we love, want to love or are trying to find to love is beyond words. She not only informs us but made me literally laugh out loud through out the entire book! I can't wait to be able to have a reading done from her. Team her up with the always fabulous, smart, kind, hilarious Jenny McCarthy and you have a duo set to take over the world... Well at least the astrology and humor part!
So worth the price for this gem! I would recommmed not only you buy to read it yourself but get one for all your friends too!

About the Author
Neil C. Schofield is currently the head of Financial Markets Training at Barclays Capital, where he has global responsibility for all aspects of the bank’s product-related training. As part of the job, he regularly delivers training on a wide range of subjects in commodities, fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and credit.
Prior to joining Barclays, he was a director at Chisholm Roth, a financial training company, where he delivered seminars to a blue-chip client base around the world. He has also worked in a training capacity for Chase Manhattan bank from 1988 to 1997. The author was appointed as a visiting fellow at ICMA Centre, Reading University, England in April 2007.

Good Intro to Commodity Derivatives

This book is a nice overview of over-the-counter traded products in the Energy and Commodity markets. This book is organized like a Wall St primer, it starts with the overview of the particular market fundamentals and then gives examples of some derivatives related to the specific market. Unlike most books on derivatives this book is not very quantitative, but provides a good intro to the growing world of Energy and Commodity derivatives.

Almost like mini “Rashomon” moments

What starts as a chance meeting during a winter mishap, soon blossoms into a connection between the two main protagonists that grows as new layers are added to the narrative.

Interesting characters arrive at differing points of their journey, bringing depth to the various interweaving story lines, while the cluster of friendships spread outward, bringing other members into the clique and along for the ride.

There is plenty of sex, for those that are merely looking for that. But there is more here under the surface, for those that prefer a bit more substance.

One of the nicer pleasant surprises that develops is the shift in structure that finds us hearing segments of subplots via the voices of different characters. Almost like mini “Rashomon” moments, that give a heightened breadth to the intersecting character arcs.

I’m anxiously awaiting the next installment of these erotic-themed escapades and look forward to their continued adventures.

First but not the last i'll ever read.

I've never been one to really erotic novels, but I must say this has both taste and raw appeal to it. It really grips you and pulls you into the story line no matter what type of man you are into. Every time you try and put it down you end up wanted to see what the next chapter has in store. It's really a must read.

Rob Schnepp is a 28 year veteran of the fire service, retired as the Division Chief of Special Operations for the Alameda County (CA) Fire Department. He has vast experience in emergency response and served as incident commander on numerous large scale emergencies.Rob has written numerous peer reviewed fire service related articles and two hazardous materials response textbooks. He is also an instructor for the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency, providing hazmat/WMD training to an international audience.

Excelent book!

I read a previous version from this book, and decided to buy it. Had to wait until the latest edition arrived, and it was totally worth it. Very complete, lots of references, great images and useful charts. The book scheme helps on a better undestanding of incident management, and is good if you want to configure a basic class or if you need a more technical approach. I will use it as one of my main references (with NFPA, OSHA, EPA and United Nations docs) in order to configure emergency response trainings in Per�, South America. The book comes also with a personal access password for Jones & Batlett Learning, I haven't seen it yet but looks good... interesting freebie.

One downside, and this is for Amazon people: I'll never ever will ask for delivery outside USA. I paid like $15 for freight to South America, but the UPS people charged me like US$55 more in Per� for "local warehouse expenses". Actually, I could have taken the free option inside USA and ask a friend or relative of mine to send it to me by regular mail. The freight calculation chart indicated by Amazon is, in my opinion, not clear and not accurate.

Finally, a couple documents you should have next to you for complementing this book: ERG 2012, NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards 2010, Google Earth / Google Maps open, Orange Book and Purple Book from United Nations (digital version is OK), maybe some free software from NOAA like Chemical Reactivity Worksheet (CRW) and access to CAMEO website. It's all there waiting for you.

The Bible of HazMat Response

This is the second of Mr. Noll's texts on the topic that I read, and I have to admit this edition is easier to comprehend.

Though I only serve as a medical specialist to a Hazardous Incident Response Team, I found this book to be instrumental in developing my understanding of the essential steps of response to a chemical AND WMD event. Reading this after my "operations" course conducted by a nationally recognized program provider, this text would have made many of the tougher lessons crystal clear, should I have had access to it at that time.

It should be noted that the author serves on the 'de facto' standards review committee, and this edition represents the cutting edge of best practices at the time of print. Highly recommended without reservation.

The strange and wonderful tale of National Geographic photographer Loren McIntyre's mystical journal from the depths of the Amazon basin to the river's ultimate source in the Andes, solemnly related by Popescu (The Last Wave; In Hot Blood, 1988 paperback.) With 40 years of Amazon exploration under his belt, as well as subsidiary careers in the US Navy and as a documentary filmmaker, McIntyre jumped at the chance to experience and photograph a ``first contact'' with an elusive Mayoruna tribe rumored to exist on the shores of the Rio Javari, an Amazon tributary. Airdropped onto the river's shore, McIntyre easily joined up with the seminomadic ``cat people''--who tattooed their faces and stuck spines in their cheeks to resemble their claimed jaguar ancestors- -but soon became hopelessly lost following their flight from an unseen enemy. Worried that his hired pilot would never find him, unable to speak the Indians' language, and suffering severe culture shock from jungle life, McIntyre nevertheless became fascinated by the Mayoruna headman, who seemed to communicate with the American through what McIntyre called ``beaming''--or mental telepathy. McIntyre apparently received mental messages regarding the tribe's plan to escape modern encroachers by traveling ``back to the beginning''--fasting, dancing, and ingesting natural hallucinogens to return to the safety of the beginning of time. After witnessing this ceremony, McIntyre returned to civilization, but he would experience a psychic reunion with the tribe--and, perhaps, their ancient ancestors--two years later while combing the Andes for the true source of the Amazon. A masterpiece of travel writing and ethnography.

This is one of those books you open with limited expectations, and finally close with a sense of exhaustion, wonder and profound respect.
Popescu deftly handles the netherworld between the civilized and the mystic. His hero Lauren McIntyre's encounters with the inexplicable, the deeply alien, and frankly dangerous shake you and leave you stunned and amazed. You'll end up thanking God for Cambio, his Virgil in this tour of a shadowy, troubling world. You'll curse McIntyre's occasional stupidity, you'll vicariously exercise your primal instincts as you plot stratagems for escape and survival. You'll wonder what it means to be human when everything that We depend on is brutally stripped away. And you will reel when you are confronted with the impossible that must be possible because it is actually happening. In short, Popescu plunges you into the most remote and terrifyingly foreign places, and asks, "How do explain this? How will you battle these alien perils and save your skin?"
The book is comprised of two separate, yet oddly connected adventures: McIntyre's capture by hostile Amazonian aborigines, and his later search for the most distant source of the Amazon river. In each case McIntyre deliberately ventures into the most hostile locales a man could hope to find, and willingly takes on the dangers he knows he will encounter. As a photographic journalist he tries to record pictures and experiences, hoping to take us to places we could never get to on our own. And as our proxy, he seems to feel an unbearable weight of duty to first discover, and then relate the truth he has prized out of these distant, unreachable worlds. He clearly demonstrates that miles on a map, and projected days of travel are utterly, laughably meaningless on quests such as his. He treks not only through wilds that nature defiantly guards, he seems to travel back through time, to a moment very near the beginning of things. That Popescu has so movingly chronicled McIntyre's transit of terrain and soul is a significant literary accomplishment. That anyone could pick up this book and enter those worlds himself, is a palpable blessing.

This biography reads like an adventure

I don't read a lot, but this book is amazing. A biography that read like an adventure. McIntyre's contemplation over Mayoruna philosophy was eye opening. I'd like to read more about the tribe, and I'm sorry the book is over.

The games, puzzles, illustrations and words of the songs highlight the fun aspect in learning the piano whilst being also educational, offering suggestions for playing, advice on hand position and how to practise ... a breath of fresh air for teachers and pupils alike. About the Author
Pauline Hall graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and then taught in schools and privately. Whilst living and teaching in Harrogate she felt the need for a piano tutor which made learning fun, and which progressed at the pace of her slowest learner. She started by writing little tunes in pupils' notebooks, and these formed the basis of Tunes for Ten Fingers; the Piano Time series developed from this.
